On that note, I want to explore other features of Whatsapp that will make you derive maximum satisfaction from the application.

Say It, instead of Typing It

For people that can sing like a siren or have an Angelic voice. WhatsApp has provided something for your ministry. You can now record that beautiful voice of yours and broadcast it through Whatsapp for talent hunter to locate you.
  • Hold the green mic icon down to record a voice message.
  • Then send it by releasing the mic.
You can say this is one of those fairly obvious features since the mic button is right there next to the text box, but you may not have known it.

Save Text Files of Conversations

WhatsApp has give you the option of saving any conversation as a text file, which is great if you ever need to show it to someone someday, or if you want to keep it to yourself for the  records without keeping it in WhatsApp.
  • Open up the conversation you want to save.
  • Tap on the Menu button.
  • Tap on More.
  • Tap on Email chat.
When you successfully complete the above steps, you will have a time stamped, downloadable text document emailed to you.

Do you have a very important or inspirational text from someone that you want to save? Whatsapp has provided a few steps for you to get your heart desire.
  • Tap and hold on the message.
  • Tap on the star icon once it pops up at the top of the screen.
  • Retrieve it anytime by tapping on the Menu button on the main screen and choosing "Starred messages.
