How To Change IP Address On Android Device

To set a static IP address in the Android operating system, please follow these steps:
Note: Steps are best performed with the tablet in portrait mode.

1. Open your list of Apps.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Select Wi-Fi settings.
4. Tap and hold the network you want to connect to until a box appears.
5. Select Modify Network.
6. Tap the checkbox next to Show Advanced Options.
7. Choose Static from the IPv4 settings menu.
8. Input your static ip information.
9. Tap Save.
