How to Install and remove Applications on Windows 10 from the Microsoft Windows Store: Wherever you go, apps are all we hear about these days and Windows 10 is packed with a
good number of them. Applications for your PC are essentially nothing new to the software we have been installing on computers for years, using discs and CDs. As far as Windows 10 is concerned these applications can be downloaded from the Windows Store.

Just like your smartphones, the Windows Store is the central place for a range of applications, of which most of them are free to download. Take for instance, you could just go to Facebook using a web browser, but downloading the Facebook application provides all your latest account activity in a faster, better looking interface.

Most times, Microsoft and your PC’s manufacturer also preload some these applications on to your machine automatically, which you may not be in need of. Because of this, it is best that you are familiar with installing and uninstalling applications on your machine.

Installing Windows 10 Applications

1. Getting to the Windows Store

You will find the Windows Store at bottom in the taskbar, its icon looks like a small shopping bag with the Windows logo on it.

2. Finding Applications

There are five items in the Windows Store; Home, Apps, Games, Music and Films & TV. These are listed along the top of the Windows Store, Select Apps to explore the apps available.

In the case where you already know what application you are looking for, you can search from the search box.

3. Installing Applications

When you have found the application you want, you will see the name and logo, followed by a button below. If you have already installed the application on another machine, it may say Install instead. After this, the installation will begin and you can click Open when it is completed.
