Most importantly, I will introduce you to the two ways through which you can format your memory card namely; use of Android mobile phone and use of windows mobile phones. With this in mind, I am going to take each of them one after the other
Formatting your Memory Card with an Android Mobile Phone.
Though Android phones have little differences based on manufacturer, be rest assured that their setting menus are almost the same. Therefore the algorithm presented below is sure to work in every Android phone you can think of once they are followed correctly.
- Open your APPs
- Click on the settings
- Click on storage
- Click on Erase SD Card or Format SD Card depending on your phones language.
In case you are having problem with the memory card on your windows phone, I recommend the following steps to help you wipe out the data in card and reset it back to factory settings.
- Swipe your finger over the home screen to expose the start menu.
- Click on settings
- Click on storage sense
- Click on your memory card
- Click on Format SD card.
- Click yes to confirm.
