• Number of candidates result processed and released  = 1,471,151 = 94.36%

• Candidates with 5 credits in all with or without English and Maths = 1,231,244 = 78.84%
• Those with 5 credits with English but without Mathematics = 858,424 = 54.59%

In the light  of the above breakdown, we shall be showing you how to check your Waec Result online and offline. To check your Result ofline means checking your waec result with your smartphone, using text message.
It is a good news that candidates can now check their waec result with their small phones without internet connection using SMS. First we need to show you the requirements for checking the Result.

1. Know your Waec Examination Number
2. Buy waec scratch card. You can view the list of available dealers here
3. scratch the card to reveal the concealed Pin and take note of the serial number which normally start with wr.

To check the waec result using online method

1. Visit the waec result portal www.waecdirect.org
2. Fill in your 10-digit WAEC Examination No. (7 digit center no + 3 digit candidate no.)
3. Select the year of your Examination
4. Select the Examination type
5. Enter the Serial Numbere c of th found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
7. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

To check the waec result using SMS

• Send an SMS to 32327 in the format shown below:
  WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
• example:
  WAEC*4120458563*45856895752*2018.

You have to adhere strictly to the above format. Ensure that you don't leave space in between. SMS cost N30 only and you can send with any network.
